Dreams

I would love to be able to live and be free

However I can't do that with what is expected of me

I dream of a world with no war and no fighting

A world where we see things in a different lighting

I dream in peace and silence of a brighter tomorrow

If I can even make it through today with the pain and the sorrow

So I'll close my eyes to dream again

But deep inside I know dreams are only pretend
