Q. Will my poem be accepted no matter what the content is?

A. We believe in freedom of expression but reserve the right to reject any that are profane, obscene, indecent, pornographic, defamatory, inflammatory, threatening, discriminatory, harassing (racially or sexually), offensive, subversive, violent or illegal. If we do reject any poems we will send you an explanation by email explaining why we had to reject your poem.

Q. When will my poem(s) be published?

A. As soon as possible after receipt but we cannot guarantee the timescale. After publication we will notify you by email and provide you with direct web links to your work.

Q. Will you be publishing a hard copy of the World Poetry Book?

A. There are no current plans to do this but this will be reconsidered at a later date depending upon interest from our contributors.

Q. How will readers know when my poem was published?

A. A publishing date will be included on the web page.

Q. Can I include the date on which my poem was written?

A. Yes.
