Freeze
Which world are you in?
On which planet did you begin?
Obviously not in mine,
Cause you are not my kind.
So how could I hope to understand
your icy responses so underhand.
You shiver me … you shiver me
I wanted to show you how warm
my world could be
but you freeze me… you freeze me.
This chill I feel runs up my spine,
Your cold looks just wither the passions in my mind.
Ooooh!
Your eyes spit ice daggers at me.
All I wanted was for you to see
that you could live in a warmer world with me.
I’m not really living
Cause you are so unforgiving.
My body was on fire for you,
I burned for you and ached for you.
But your cold blue stare
Shattered my desire with despair.
I know I told you lies,
For which I have apologised
And you know how hard I’ve tried
But you torture me with your flashing, glinting eyes.
You shiver me, you shiver me.
Your cold skeletal touches
at my heart clutches
clawing at the embers smouldering there,
I feel you no longer care.
You’re freezing me, you freeze me.
Ice is a temperature I can’t stand
It douses the lovely flame I held in my hand
I’m not living, I’m just suffering,
You are so unforgiving.
How could the love that we shared
Turn into such a nightmare?
I don’t think our worlds will collide again,
I need sunshine, you bring me rain
I need hope to relight my love flame.
You shiver me.
